Missions ingénierie façade

The tower is built in the space between Boulevard Circulaire and the Iris building. The latter, dating from 1983, was demolished to make way for a larger forecourt on the La Défense side. However, the Iris car park located in the infrastructure of the building to be demolished was retained and remained in operation throughout the construction of the Saint-Gobain tower.

The IGH houses the global headquarters of the Saint-Gobain Company, which previously occupied the Les Miroirs building on the other side of Boulevard Circulaire.

The VPdesign studio based its design for the interior of the Saint-Gobain tower on three major themes promoted by the century-old company:
– A new way of working, based on conviviality and flexibility.
– Technological innovation and sustainable living, through the adaptation of Saint-Gobain products for coatings and walls as well as thermal and sound insulation.
– History, through the creation of a blown glass work by the master glassmakers of Saint-Just, symbolizing 350 years of expertise and combining modernity with the transmission of traditions.
