LATITUDE

Restructuring and extension of the LE BERKELEY building located at La Défense (Courbevoie), close to the SNCF tracks and partly beneath the La Défense ring road.
The building is made up of two buildings:
· Building A: a ground floor + 2 building (car park) whose structures support the La Défense ring road. · Building B: a ground floor + 8 building in superstructure with 4 levels of infrastructure.
The project consists of the partial demolition of building A outside the ring road area, allowing a 32 m extension of building B. The retained part of building A, whose structure supports the ring road, will be refurbished to house the new hall, a cafeteria, a 700 m² ERP area (restaurant + co-working) and a business centre.
Building B is entirely restructured to meet current objectives in terms of office use and energy and environmental performance. The existing façade of prefabricated reinforced-concrete panels will be removed in favour of a curtain wall, improving the characteristics of the heat-loss surfaces and increasing light transmission for the first-day-light areas.
