Winner of an architects’ competition, the project is designed by Viguier, in association with Marc Mimram Architecture & Associés, to fit sustainably into its urban environment and contribute to the creation of a new district.
The 74,000 m² complex, located near Paris La Défense, is divided into 5 buildings of varying heights, including a 100-metre-high high-rise (IGH), all forming a series of interconnected islands. Weaving the network of cross-links, an elevated interior street connects the buildings and also serves terraces and gardens.
At ground level, a set of glass walls facing the streets perpendicular to boulevard de la Défense opens the Archipel to the city and provides access to the shared functions.
A showcase for the Vinci Group’s innovations, the project is fully part of the area’s redevelopment plan, with the Eole project, the future station of RER line E.
