A symbol of urban diversity, To Lyon rises to 170 metres and is conceived as a connected, human and high-performing tower. This ambition translates into a single volume with a dual composition that integrates two urban scales. A high-rise part, on 43 floors, creates a landmark at the metropolitan scale, while the lower part, on eight floors, sits at the scale of the neighbourhood and the immediate surroundings.
Its contemporary façade, with a regular glazed grid, is pleated so as to create depth and relief consistent with the existing buildings. Light is reflected in it, giving the project a kaleidoscopic character. The blue or black tones, evoking obsidian, are a nod to the region, its mountains and its volcanoes. This tower forms the new entry point to the station and transforms the Lyon skyline to become a symbol of the district.
