ESCP BUSINESS SCHOOL

This transformation project for ESCP Business School, located on avenue de la République in Paris, is led by the agency Ateliers 2/3/4.
The refurbishment, restructuring and extension of the spaces reflect several design choices:
– Designing and embodying the School of tomorrow: revolutionising learning spaces to foster creativity, plurality, fluidity and flexibility;
– Making the most of the existing building, transforming it, reusing it and densifying it while creating more porosity with the surroundings and more accessible outdoor spaces;
– Asserting the urban mix necessary for tomorrow’s world by joining the dynamic of the city and allowing major schools to remain in its historic heart.
While respecting the Haussmannian building, the premises are modernised and arranged around the landscaped courtyard, visible from the various spaces thanks to the play of transparencies.
